Smiling Peas in a Pod

Begin by rolling out 3 small light green balls for the peas.

Second, roll out a smooth sheet of dark green polymer clay and cut it into a clean rectangle.

Third, place the 3 light green balls in a row on the dark green rectangle and carefully fold up the sides to cradle the peas.

Then, roll six tiny white balls, significantly smaller than the peas. Slightly flatten each one for the eye whites.

Next roll 6 even smaller black balls for the pupils.

Now use a toothpick tip to gently press each black pupil onto the center of each white eye ball.

Carefully position two eyes on each of your three peas.

Roll a micro-thin string of black clay, trim off rough ends, cut into 3 tiny pieces, and curve each into a little smile.

Lastly, use the toothpick to carefully lift and set a smiling mouth onto each pea.
